- 2-3 years of relevant work experience required for this role
We are looking for an experienced and reliable Barista to join our busy, quality-focused cafe. This role would suit someone confident on the machine, comfortable working independently, and happy to support the team during daily service.
Responsibilities
- Prepare coffee and drinks to a consistent standard
- Help maintain smooth workflow during busy periods
- Dial in grinders and keep coffee quality on track
- Support junior baristas and all-rounders when needed
- Take orders and provide friendly customer service
- Assist with food service and light food preparation when required
- Keep the coffee area and cafe clean, organised, and well stocked
- Support the cafe manager/owner with day-to-day operations
Requirements
- Strong barista skills and good coffee knowledge
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision
- Calm, fast, and organised under pressure
- Reliable, professional, proactive, and a team player
- Strong attention to detail and consistency
- Willing to support and guide other staff when needed
- Morning availability required
Competitive pay based on experience, leadership ability, and output.
Pay: $26.00 – $32.00 per hour
