As a casual Registered Nurse within our General Ward, you'll care for a diverse range of medical and rehabilitation patients, working alongside an experienced multidisciplinary team committed to achieving the best possible outcomes for every patient. This role offers the opportunity to broaden your clinical experience across a variety of patient presentations while enjoying the flexibility to balance work with your lifestyle. You'll be welcomed into a collaborative team environment where your contribution is valued, and you'll receive a comprehensive orientation along with ongoing support from the Nurse Unit Manager, Clinical Nurse Educator and experienced nursing team to help you succeed.
What You Will Be Doing
As a Casual Registered Nurse, you will deliver safe, evidence-based and person-centred nursing care to patients within the General Ward.
Working collaboratively with medical officers, allied health professionals and fellow nursing staff, you will:

Assess, plan, implement and evaluate individualised patient care.

Monitor patient progress and respond appropriately to changes in clinical condition.

Administer medications and treatments in accordance with NSW Health policies and professional standards.

Support patients and their families throughout their healthcare journey.

Maintain accurate clinical documentation and participate in effective clinical handovers.

Contribute to discharge planning and patient education.

Foster a positive, respectful and collaborative team environment while promoting quality improvement and patient safety.
