About the Role
Registered Nurse - Home Care | Part Time | Bateau Bay & Surrounding Areas
Are you a passionate Registered Nurse looking for a role where you can truly make a difference? Southern Cross Care NSW & ACT is seeking a compassionate and dedicated nurse to join our Home Care Team in the beautiful Central Coast region.
This rewarding part-time opportunity offers the perfect balance of flexibility, autonomy, and meaningful work. You'll provide high-quality, person-centred care to older Australians in the comfort of their own homes, helping them maintain their independence, dignity, and quality of life.
Working three days per week (Wednesday, Thursday and Friday), you'll experience the unique rewards of community nursing, building meaningful relationships, supporting individual goals, and making a lasting difference every single day.

What You’ll Be Doing

Conducting initial and ongoing assessments, planning and managing nursing care

Developing and reviewing individualised care plans to meet residents’ changing needs

Participating in quarterly care plan reviews (or more frequently where required)

Maintaining accurate, up-to-date documentation in line with SCC policies and quality standards

Ensuring the completion and accuracy of ACFI claims

Supporting best practice clinical care in a collaborative team environment

Registered Nurse (Division 1) with general registration
-
Possession of Certificate III in Community Services (Aged Care) or equivalent (desirable)

Experience in caring for older people with the ability to provide quality care and support

Current driver’s license
-
Sensitivity to and understanding of the aspirations and needs of frail older people. Ability to set and maintain high standards in the provision of quality care and support services

Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.

Advanced verbal and written English communication skills
