This role requires someone who understands the importance of consistency, professionalism, and working collaboratively. Comprehensive training and ongoing support will be provided to ensure you have the knowledge and confidence to succeed.
About The Role:
As part of a dedicated support team, you will provide person-centred supports that promote independence, dignity, and quality of life while ensuring the participant's goals and preferences remain at the centre of all supports.
This is a complex support role requiring sound judgement, excellent communication skills, and the ability to follow established support plans and clinical directions.
Your Responsibilities Will Include:
- Delivering person-centred supports aligned with the participant's NDIS goals.
- Assisting with personal care and activities of daily living.
- Manual handling.
- Hoist transfers (2:1)
- Mobility and positioning.
- In-home exercise programs.
- Following support plans, risk assessments, and therapy recommendations.
- Maintaining accurate documentation and detailed shift notes.
- Working collaboratively with the participant, family, allied health professionals, and the wider support team.
- Maintaining professional boundaries and providing supports in accordance with the NDIS Practice Standards and Code of Conduct.
About You:
You are compassionate, patient, dependable, and committed to delivering high-quality supports. You recognise the importance of consistency, teamwork, and treating every person with dignity and respect.
Because this role involves complex physical supports, previous experience is highly regarded. However, applicants who demonstrate the right attitude and willingness to learn are encouraged to apply, as comprehensive training will be provided.
Essential / Preferred Requirements:
- Certificate III or IV in Disability / Individual Support (preferred)
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willing to obtain)
- Current First Aid & CPR
- Working with Children Check (Employee)
- Current driver’s Licence & reliable vehicle
- Experience supporting high physical needs (highly regarded)
- Confidence with manual handling & hoist use (training available)
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Availability to work a flexible roster, including weekends and/or inactive overnights
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a consistent, professional support team.
- Willingness to learn and develop specialist skills through ongoing training.
- Respect for the participant's home, personal values, family culture, and background, including an appreciation of the family's connection to military and policing service.

Pay: $40.00 – $44.00 per hour
