Mum Has It Maid is a small Melbourne cleaning business looking for 2 reliable subcontract cleaners to service a childcare centre in Mickleham 3064.
Role:
- Childcare centre cleaning (after hours)
- 1 night per week – Wednesday 6:30pm start
- 2 hours and 15 minutes per shift (4.5 labour hours combined)
- You will be representing Mum Has It Maid on site during these shifts and are expected to uphold our standards and values.
- The ideal client will have opportunity for future available jobs.
About you:
- You will have reliable transport to Mickleham
- a genuine passion for cleaning and providing presentable spaces for children and their families.
- Previous commercial/childcare/school cleaning experience required
- ABN and ability to invoice (subcontractor role)
- Evening availability (consistent each week)
- Working With Children Check (or willing to obtain) and police check if required by the centre
- Attention to detail and ability to follow a checklist
- You will have your own cleaning equipment including a pacvac vacuum due the volume of floor space.
- Given the independent subcontractor status of this position, having your own insurance is highly recommended.
Duties include:
- Cleaning bathrooms and nappy change areas
- Vacuuming and all mopping
- Cleaning staff areas
- Wiping high touch surfaces and general detailing

- The centre is a medium, large childcare centre with 6 learning space rooms and high daily foot traffic.
- The centre pride themselves on their presentation.
