Prominent Australia supplies powder coating consumables and finishing products to coaters, fabricators and architects across Australia. We're growing our range and building a customer base, this is a chance to get in early and shape the role.
The role
We're after someone with excellent communication skills to be the first point of contact for our customers and to get out and meet people face to face.
Call volume is low to start, so this suits someone who wants flexibility. You'll have a diverted business landline on your mobile, so you can take calls from wherever you are.
What you'll be doing
- Answering inbound calls and enquiries, and following up on quotes
- Visiting powder coaters, fabricators and architectural specifiers — sometimes with a director, sometimes on your own
- Introducing our product range and building ongoing relationships
- Keeping customer records and enquiry notes up to date in our CRM
- Feeding back what you hear in the market on pricing, competitors and demand
What you'll need
- Strong verbal and written communication — this is the main thing we're hiring for
- Confidence picking up the phone and walking into a business you haven't visited before
- A current driver's licence and your own vehicle (travel reimbursed)
- Basic computer skills (email, CRM, Microsoft Office)
Pay: $52,880.00 – $60,000.00 per year
