Little Assets South Morang is seeking a childcare cook/chef to join our busy Centre to prepare high quality morning teas, lunches, and afternoon teas, for in excess of 120 children per day.
We are seeking an applicant who:
- Is passionate about preparing balanced, nutritional, and delicious meal's
- Can cater for a variety of needs
- Holds a food handling certificate
- Has experience in menu planning and stock ordering
- Is able to demonstrate excellent record-keeping and organisational skills
- Is committed to working 5 days per week
- Has knowledge of allergy and anaphalaxis prevention
- Has the ability to communicate effectively with staff, families, and children
- Is experienced in ensuring a clean and safe kitchen environment accordance with relevant Food Safety regulation
