About the Role:
We are seeking compassionate, reliable, and proactive Female Support Workers to join our team. You will assist participants in their homes and the community, helping with daily living tasks, personal care, transport, and social engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide personal care, including showering, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Assist with meal preparation, household cleaning, and laundry
- Support community participation, social activities, and appointments
- Encourage skill building and independence in daily tasks
- Follow participant care plans and NDIS guidelines
- Maintain accurate shift notes and incident reports as required
Requirements:
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Working with Children Check
- Updated First Aid & CPR Certificate
- Updated Driver’s License and reliable vehicle with updated insurance
- Covid Immunization cert.
- Passport
- Updated Police Check
- Updated Resume
- 2x2 photo or selfie (for family reference when accompanying the client)
- NDIS Worker orientation module (certificate)
- Covid Infection control module -Infection prevention and control - advanced education eLearning modules | Australian Commission on Safety and Quality in Health Care (certificate)
- NDIS Supporting effective communication (certifcate)
- NDIS Supporting safe and enjoyable meals (certificate)
- Experience in disability or aged care (Certificate III in Individual Support or equivalent desirable)
- Excellent communication skills and a commitment to person-centred care
