We are seeking an experienced and caring Practice Nurse (RN) who shares our commitment to supporting women and families at every stage of life. While women’s health is at the heart of what we do, we are also a fully AGPAL accredited general practice, providing quality care to women, men and children in our community.
You will be joining a supportive and collaborative multidisciplinary team of GPs, gynaecologists, paediatricians, a physiotherapist and a psychologist who genuinely value teamwork, professionalism and patient-centred care.
About the Role
As Practice Nurse, you will:
- Provide high quality, evidence-based nursing care
- Foster a positive and respectful team culture
- Contribute to quality improvement and accreditation standards
- Support chronic disease management and preventative health initiatives
- Assist with procedures and coordinate clinical systems
- Help ensure a safe, welcoming and well-organised environment for patients and staff
We are looking for someone who is proactive, organised and confident, yet approachable and kind — someone who values relationships just as much as clinical excellence.
Essential Criteria
- Registered Nurse (Division 1) with current AHPRA registration
- Current professional indemnity insurance
- Minimum 3 years post-graduate experience
- Current Working With Children Check
- Current CPR certificate
- Strong time management and ability to work independently
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Desirable Criteria
- Previous General Practice experience, including wound care, sterilisation, cold chain management, reminders and recalls, and assisting with minor procedures
- Understanding of Medicare Benefits Schedule GP item numbers
- Accredited Nurse Immuniser
- Credentialled Cervical Screening Provider
- Experience in Chronic Condition Management Plans
- Experience supporting accreditation and quality improvement processes
