An excellent opportunity exists for an experienced Medical Receptionist to join Mawson Lakes Healthcare Complex. The role is being offered as a casual employment and has a potential to build into a permanent part time role. Front desk of a busy medical practice.
We are seeking someone who has the ability to manage multiple tasks while always meeting the practice and patient's expectations. This position requires a professional who has a flexible can do approach and is committed to building their skills as well as growing and developing in their working environment in line with the business needs.
Responsibilities Include:
- Meeting and greeting patients
- Booking patient appointments for multiple GPs
- Creating and maintaining patient records
- Organising patient paperwork and ensuring that the information is accurate and up to date
- Arrangement of follow up appointments
- Mail, Billing, Filing, Scanning
The successful candidate requires:
- Experience in medical reception/administration
- Excellent time management & organisational skills
- Reliability and a strong work ethic
- Ability to work both independently with initiative, and as a team member
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- Enthusiastic and positive attitude
- Advanced computer skills and be able to use an advanced medical patient booking system
- Focus on quality customer service & attention to detail
