Job Title: Casual OOSH Educator (Before, After School & Vacation Care)

We are currently looking for a casual educator to join our team. If you enjoy working with primary school aged children and like being part of a supportive environment, we would love to hear from you.
Our service runs before school, after school, and during vacation care on a school site. Our main focus is to create safe spaces where children can play, explore their interests, and feel a sense of belonging.
What you will be doing:
- Supervising and engaging with children in a safe and positive way
- Getting involved in play, activities, and group games
- Supporting daily routines (afternoon tea, transitions, pack up)
- Building positive relationships with children, families and the team
- Following all supervision, safety, and child protection procedures
About You:
- Reliable and happy to commit to shifts when rostered
- Comfortable getting involved and engaging with children from diverse backgrounds
- Good communication skills with both children and adults
- Able to use initiative and stay attentive in a busy environment
- Hold a current NSW Working With Childrens Check
- Holds a Police Check (or willing to obtain)
- Experience in childcare or working with children is a bonus, but not essential
- Current First Aid and CPR certifications (desirable)

Availability:
This is a casual relief role so shifts are offered as needed e.g. staff leave, ratios, vacation care, etc). During school term, shifts may be occasional, with more opportunities available during vacation care.
Child Safety
