This is a great opportunity for an organised and proactive Personal Assistant to support a busy Business Services team. You’ll play a key role in keeping day-to-day operations running smoothly, managing client communications, supporting compliance processes, and ensuring critical deadlines are met. It’s a varied role where you’ll build strong relationships with both clients and internal stakeholders, while gaining exposure to core accounting and corporate administration processes.
Key responsibilities
- Act as the first point of contact for clients, handling calls and general enquiries in a professional and friendly manner
- Manage ATO correspondence and ensure timely communication with clients via online systems
- Track and monitor tax return and BAS lodgements to support workflow and meet deadlines
- Liaise with the ATO on administrative matters, including payment arrangements
- Maintain accurate client records across systems such as CRM, Xero, Tax Portal and ASIC Portal
- Assist with ASIC compliance processes, including annual statements and related documentation
- Prepare engagement letters and coordinate document distribution and signing
- Provide general administrative support to the team as required
About you
- At least 1 year of administration experience, ideally within professional services
- Exposure to ASIC administration and/or ATO processes is advantageous
- Familiarity with systems such as Xero and CAS 360 is highly regarded
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities
- High attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy
- A professional, client-focused approach with strong communication skills
- Proactive, reliable, and adaptable in a fast-paced environment
- A team player who is open to learning and contributing positively to the wider team
