About the role
Due to our continued growth, we now have an exciting opportunity for a Storeperson/Delivery Driver to join and support the daily of operations of our Fyshwick, ACT branch.
This is a dual-role position involving general warehouse tasks and delivering our products to our valued customers. You'll be operating forklifts, picking and packing orders, loading and unloading trucks, keeping the warehouse tidy and safe, and delivering products directly to our customers- this is a hands-on, varied role ideal for someone who enjoys a mix of warehouse work, customer service, and being out on the road.

What will your day look like?
- Pick, pack, and dispatch orders accurately and on time.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment.
- Monitor inventory levels and alert supervisors or stock issues.
- Rotate stock using FIFO (First In, First Out) practices.
- Assist in inventory cycle counts and discrepancy investigations.
- Assist in unloading deliveries and checking items against delivery dockets.
- Communicate order status and delivery information to customers.
- Site deliveries.
- Record customer feedback and escalate product issues.
- Assemble parts or kits to production standards.
- Safely operate company vehicles to deliver goods to designated locations.
- Ensure timely and accurate deliveries according to the established schedule.
- Conduct routine checks on the delivery vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition.
- Provide excellent customer service during deliveries, ensuring a positive experience for customers.
- Provide updates on delivery status and report any issues promptly.
- Perform any other duties as directed or required.
What will you bring to the role?
- Current Forklift Licence (LF)
- Current C Class Driver's License & MR driver’s licence
- Experience in a similar delivery driver, stores or warehousing role
- Good level of communication skills and rapport-building ability
- Good planning, organisation, and time management skills
- Basic numerical skill and good attention to detail and accuracy
- Basic computer literacy and ability to access and use computer and other required software programs
- Ability to work unsupervised and to tight time schedules
- Ability to follow oral and written instructions
- Demonstrated effective interpersonal and communication skills, a willingness to be accountable and accept responsibility.
