About the Role
We’re on the lookout for an experienced HVAC A-Class Electrician to join our dynamic team in Kent Town. This full-time, permanent role offers the stability of regular working hours (7:00 am – 3:30 pm) with a 40-hour week and the added benefit of one Rostered Day Off (RDO) per month.
In this role, You will be primarily responsible for mechanical electrical works associated with new commercial HVAC installations in our current electrical team.
Key Responsibilities
· Electrical works associated with HVAC Installation and Commissioning
· High voltage and control wiring relating to HVAC Services
· Assisting with First and Second Fix Electrical Installations
· Installation of Mechanical Services Switchboards
· Installation on a range of Commercial, Industrial and Residential Projects
· Supervising apprentices
· Delivering high quality workmanship
· Proven knowledge of legislative requirements regarding operation of building facilities, especially HVAC systems
Required Skills & Qualifications
· Current and valid A-Class Electrical License
· Valid Australia Drivers Licence
· Current and Valid White Card
· Elevated Working Platform License
· Pride of quality of work
· Strong work ethic and positive attitude
· Great customer skills
· The ability to work both autonomously and with a team
· Proven technical expertise
· Ability to work on and self-manage multiple projects at the same time
Preferred Experience
· 5+ years of experience in HVAC or refrigeration systems.
· Experience with commercial and industrial equipment.
· Familiarity with energy-efficient systems and smart controls.
Working Conditions
· Indoor and outdoor work environments.
· General hours of work between 7.00am-3.30pm. May involve overtime and/or adjusted work hours of 6.00am-4.00pm when required.
· Exposure to commercial construction building sites
· Use of hand and power tools.
