Infrastructure Advisory
Bureau Veritas is a market leader in Independent Certification and Verification, playing a critical role in enabling the delivery of complex, large-scale infrastructure assets that underpin economic growth and societal wellbeing. The Infrastructure team at Bureau Veritas offers strategic, commercial and technical advice to help you unlock opportunities and deliver successful projects. Our Advisory services provide clients with specialist advice across the full lifecycle of major infrastructure programs. We develop complex procurement processes, commercial strategy and contract governance for a range of different infrastructure and services projects in the transport and energy sectors, as well as social and emerging infrastructure markets.
We offer our clients a comprehensive end to end Advisory service which includes the development of business cases, delivery model and contracting strategy, market engagement, procurement and transaction management, commercial negotiation through to contract award, and post-award commercial and delivery-phase support. Our commercial and transaction services are highly tailored to meet the needs of each client in terms of their project budget, timeframe and key stakeholders.
The Opportunity
Bureau Veritas' Infrastructure Advisory team is seeking an accomplished Director, to lead and grow our South Australian practice.
This is a career-defining opportunity to join one of Australia's leading infrastructure advisory teams, working with government, institutional and private sector clients on some of the nation's most significant infrastructure, energy and utilities investments.
As a Director, you will play a pivotal leadership role in shaping major projects and programs, providing trusted strategic and commercial advice across the full asset lifecycle. You will be responsible for growing client relationships, winning new work, leading multidisciplinary teams, and driving the successful delivery of complex advisory engagements that create lasting economic and community value across South Australia and beyond.
You will bring a strong market presence, deep infrastructure sector knowledge, strategic problem solving capabilities and a passion for helping clients navigate critical investment, procurement and delivery decisions.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the delivery of complex infrastructure, energy and utilities advisory engagements, providing strategic, commercial and transaction advice to senior client stakeholders.
- Develop and grow key client relationships across government and industry, nurturing existing relationship and drive business development activities, including opportunity origination, proposal leadership, market engagement and revenue growth.
- Lead, mentor and develop high-performing advisory teams while fostering a collaborative, client-focused culture.
- Shape major infrastructure investments by advising on business cases, procurement strategies, commercial frameworks, transactions and project delivery models.
About You
- Extensive experience in infrastructure advisory, management consulting, commercial, transaction, project delivery or investment-related roles, preferably within major projects environments.
- Demonstrated experience in developing and leading market sounding, designing and delivering procurement strategy, project and transaction management.
- A strong network across South Australia's infrastructure, energy, transport, water, utilities or social infrastructure sectors.
- Demonstrated success in leading advisory engagements, managing senior stakeholder relationships and delivering commercially successful outcomes.
- Proven business development capability, including winning work, developing strategic client relationships and contributing to practice growth.
- Strategic thinker with clear leadership and people management skills/.
- Degree-qualified in engineering, commerce, economics, finance, law or a related discipline, with recognised industry credibility and leadership capability.
