Are you a Certificate III qualified Educator looking to join a supportive, close-knit team where your work is valued every day?
We’re looking for an Assistant Educator to join our small early learning centre in Dundas. You’ll be working alongside experienced educators, supporting children’s daily routines, play-based learning, and building strong, respectful relationships.
This is a part-time role, suited to someone looking for a long-term position.

Qualifications & Experience
- Completed Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care
- Valid right to work in Australia
- Experience working with children aged 0–5 years
- Understanding of the EYLF and NQS
- Current Working With Children Check
- First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis, or willingness to obtain
- Completion of National Child Protection Training
- Strong communication, teamwork and supervision skills
- Availability to work Monday to Friday
Key Responsibilities
- Support the implementation of high-quality care and education for children aged 0–5 years, aligned with the EYLF and NQF
- Assist with children’s daily routines, including meals, rest, hygiene, transitions and overall wellbeing
- Build respectful, responsive and reciprocal relationships with children, families and colleagues
- Plan and support play-based learning experiences that promote children’s holistic development across all learning domains
- Use intentional teaching and scaffolding strategies to extend children’s learning, thinking and engagement
- Encourage children’s independence, agency, communication, creativity and problem-solving skills
- Maintain active supervision and uphold children’s health, safety and wellbeing at all times in line with regulatory requirements
- Contribute to observations, documentation and reflective practice, supporting ongoing program planning and continuous improvement
- Maintain a clean, safe, organised and engaging learning environment, recognising the environment as the third teacher
- Work collaboratively with the team and consistently follow centre policies, procedures, and child safe practices in accordance with the NQS

Pay: $29.00 – $35.00 per hour
