About the role
The Education Consultant is responsible for guiding international students in selecting institutions and courses that align with their academic and career goals. The role involves managing and converting student enquiries to achieve individual and organizational targets, delivering exceptional customer service throughout the student journey, and promoting the products and services offered by Aussizz Group.
Key Responsibilities
· Advise international students on suitable courses, institutions, admission requirements, and GTE eligibility. Counselling onshore and offshore international students on taking up a new course or course change.
· Respond to enquiries promptly, follow up regularly, and convert leads into enrolments while achieving monthly targets.
· Maintain accurate student records, documentation, and application updates in the CRM system.
· Stay updated on education providers, course offerings, visa regulations, and industry developments.
· Build strong relationships with students, student body associations, partners, and other key stakeholders.
· Support marketing initiatives, social media engagement, and promotion of the organisation's products and services.
· Act professionally always by practising responsible business ethics as per the Agent Code of Ethics
· Ensure compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements, and maintain accurate records.
· Work closely with consultants, Team Leaders, and Operations Managers to achieve business objectives and ensure smooth operations.
Experience & Skills
· Energetic, proactive with a positive attitude.
· Minimum 1–2 years of experience as an Education Consultant in Australia.
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
· Good understanding of the international education sector in Australia
· Strong sales techniques and customer service skills and ability to meet organizational goals and deadlines.
· Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and general internet applications.
· QEAC certification (desirable)
