About the role:
In this role, you will support your team with a variety of office administration tasks while also contributing to deliver an exciting program of civic events hosted by Council. You will be part of a collaborative team where no two days are the same and will be heavily relied on to assist with the smooth day to day operation of the office. Your proactive thinking and exceptional customer service skills will be depended on, often engaging with various internal and external stakeholders, community members, government representatives and Ministerial offices.
The successful candidate will demonstrate the following key skills and attributes:

Qualifications or equivalent professional experience in business administration.

Events coordination experience would be advantageous;
- Excellent Microsoft Office skills and the ability to learn other applications and systems;
- A flexible approach to work: some events may be held outside normal business hours;
- Excellent teamwork, time management, organisational and problem-solving skills;
- Ability to work independently, and with a wide range of people, including members of the community;
- Drivers licence and willingness to drive to locations where events are being held;
- A positive and customer-focussed attitude towards your team, Council and the community;
