About the Opportunity
We’re looking for an experienced Internal Communications Consultant to join our Brand and Communications team for a 12-month temporary backfill opportunity.
This role sits at the heart of how we connect, inform and engage our people.
You'll partner with leaders across the business to develop communication approaches that support strategic priorities, operational outcomes and organisational change. Whether you're shaping key messages, developing communication plans or creating engaging content, you'll help ensure our people understand what matters and why.
Reporting to the Internal Communications Lead, you'll act as a trusted communications adviser for your portfolio, building strong relationships with stakeholders and helping them communicate with clarity, confidence and impact.
You'll join a collaborative team that values practical advice, thoughtful storytelling and delivering meaningful outcomes for our people.
What You'll Deliver
- Partner with leaders and stakeholders to provide trusted internal communications advice that supports business priorities and organisational outcomes.
- Develop and deliver communication plans and campaigns that support change, engagement and operational effectiveness.
- Create clear, engaging and audience-focused content across a range of internal communication channels.
- Build strong relationships across the organisation to understand communication needs and identify opportunities to improve employee engagement.
- Contribute to communication insights, reporting and continuous improvement of internal communications practices and channels.
About You
- Tertiary qualifications in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, Business, Creative Industries or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
- Demonstrated experience in internal communications, employee engagement, corporate communications or a related field.
- Exceptional writing, editing and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor messages for different audiences.
- Experience developing communication plans and supporting organisational change initiatives.
- Strong stakeholder management and business partnering skills, including the ability to work effectively with senior leaders.
- A collaborative and proactive approach, with the ability to manage competing priorities and deliver high-quality outcomes.
