Logan City Motor Inn is a busy family owned and operated Motel. Conveniently close to the M1, Logan Hyperdome Shopping Centre and many other amenities.
We are seeking a Casual Housekeeper/Room Attendant to join our team on an on-call casual basis, hours per week will vary according to how busy we get on any given day. Please note that there are no set hours for this role.
Position Duties:
- Ensuring guest rooms are thoroughly cleaned and presented to the highest standard. Cutting corners to clean in record time is NOT what we are looking for.
- Is efficient and productive with their time.
- An individual who has a good eye for detail with cleaning/presenting finished rooms. Looking beyond the obvious is essential.
- Supplying fresh towels, re-stocking amenities and cleaning when a room service is requested by guests.
- Provide excellent customer service.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Takes directions well and adheres to our policies.
- Courteously and promptly responds to guest room requests.
- Maintains a clean, safe, hazard-free work environment at all times.
This position requires a physically fit individual and one who can demonstrate consistency with the quality of their work. A non-smoker would also be preferable.
Must have at least 2 years recent experience in the Motel/Hotel cleaning industry.
The successful candidate must be available to work weekdays, weekends and/or public holidays.
