National Poultry Business, based in Marrickcville is seeking to fill the key position activities of the Supply and Distribution Manager. The key activites of this position include:
· Collaborate with diverse teams including sales and production teams.
· Understanding the requirements of potential and existing customers to ensure their needs are being met.
· Comprehensive knowledge of M&J’s business, supply chain, product offering and general business activities.
· Ensure the effective communication between these teams and the wider business.
· Maintain open communication and regularly update Management
· Work closely with internal stakeholders, arriving at a commercial outcome designated in the strategic plan.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct inventory cycle counts; analyse inventory levels against computerised records, production rates and product demand to determine reorder levels which will ensure product availability and minimise inventory costs.
- Monitor Purchasing, storage and Distribution, · Track order progress, maintain required stock levels, troubleshoot any issues that may create a variance and ensure all relevant information is properly documented and closed out so that order are completed on time and within budget.
- Implement and maintain Meat Matrix system (storage and Inventory system) and assist Nationally as required.
- Work with recording systems to track all movements of supplies and finished goods, and ensuring re-ordering and re-stocking at optimal times
- Review and analyse business to identify potential inventory opportunities or liabilities and take action to adjust inventory targets.
- Assist with all tasks associated with distribution functions as required.
- Participate in the driver contingency hierarchy to ensure customers’ expectations are met
- Directing staff activities and monitoring their performance
- Ensure compliance to corporate policies, procedures and processes.
- Willing and active participation in team meetings and contribution to business development activitie
Pay: Up to $80,000.00 per year
