As we expand our presence in the Australian wholesale distribution sector, we are looking for a driven Marketing Specialist to join our team and play a pivotal role in strengthening our brand, supporting our dealer network, and accelerating sales growth.
Position Overview
Reporting to the Marketing Manager, you will develop and execute integrated marketing strategies that promote HELI’s full range of products. Your focus will be on enhancing brand visibility, driving sales through both direct channels and dealer partnerships, and capturing greater market share. This role requires a blend of strategic thinking, hands-on campaign execution, and close collaboration with sales teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Market Research & Analysis – Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to uncover opportunities. Conduct thorough market analyses to understand customer preferences and refine product positioning.
- Campaign Development – Plan, create, and implement multi-channel marketing campaigns (digital, print, events) that align with sales objectives and effectively promote material handling equipment.
- Dealer Support – Partner with dealer networks to develop co-branded marketing materials and joint initiatives that drive sales, fostering strong, long‑term relationships to extend market reach.
- Content Creation – Produce compelling content for websites, social media, brochures, email newsletters, and other platforms. Maintain a consistent brand voice and ensure regular online presence updates.
- Performance Measurement – Track and evaluate campaign performance, using data to optimise strategies and deliver regular reports that support informed decision‑making.
- Sales Alignment – Work closely with the sales team to ensure marketing activities complement lead generation efforts and directly support revenue goals.
- Event Management – Organise and participate in industry trade shows, webinars, and other events to showcase products, generate qualified leads, and stay ahead of emerging trends.
Qualifications & Experience
- Education: AQF Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Marketing, Business, Communications, Engineering, or a related field that provides technical understanding to enhance product marketing.
- Experience: Minimum 1–2 years of proven experience in B2B marketing, with a track record of developing, executing, and managing successful campaigns.
- Technical Aptitude: Ability to grasp and effectively market the technical features and benefits of industrial products.
- Self‑Motivation: Highly proactive, results‑driven, and comfortable working independently with minimal supervision.
- Attention to Detail: Excellent copywriting, editing, and presentation skills, with a strong eye for accuracy.
- Integrity & Accountability: Demonstrated personal integrity and a strong sense of professional responsibility.
- Communication: Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, with proven ability to build relationships and manage diverse stakeholders.
Additional Information
This role is based in Australia and requires close collaboration with our global headquarters to ensure alignment with HELI’s worldwide marketing strategy. The successful candidate will work alongside the local sales team, agents, and dealers, acting as a key bridge between the Australian subsidiary and the parent company. Prior experience in the material handling equipment industry or wholesale distribution is highly desirable.
