Introduction:
Zeder Corporation is looking for a hands-on Internal Sales Manager to lead our Brisbane-based Trade Sales team and help shape the future of internal sales across Queensland, New South Wales and Victoria.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys leading people, improving sales performance, solving customer problems and developing a team. A key focus will be helping our Internal Sales team move from reactive order taking to proactive customer management.
This is a leadership role, but it is not a role managed from the sidelines. At times, you will be expected to assist the team directly with customer calls, emails and trade enquiries, particularly during peak periods or when additional support is needed.
Automotive technical knowledge, particularly in suspension, steering, 4x4 or aftermarket parts, will be highly regarded.

About the role
You will directly lead our Brisbane Internal Sales team and work closely with Branch Managers in Sydney and Melbourne to support workflow, sales performance, service standards and team development across the broader Internal Sales network.
This is a practical leadership role where you will coach the team, improve processes, use data to identify opportunities, support customers when required, and help build a stronger trade customer experience.
Key responsibilities
- Lead, coach and develop the Brisbane Internal Sales team.
- Support Internal Sales teams in NSW and Victoria by working closely with local Branch Managers.
- Drive improved sales performance, quote follow-up, customer contact and conversion.
- Help transition the team from customer service/order taking to proactive internal account management.
- Be hands-on when required, including assisting with customer calls, emails, trade enquiries and team overflow during peak periods.
- Provide technical support and mentoring across Zeder’s suspension and automotive product range.
- Review sales data, customer activity and workflow to identify improvement opportunities.
- Prepare team updates and performance presentations.
- Help design practical incentive programs that drive results and reward the right behaviours.
- Look for ways to improve workflow using systems, reporting, AI and other tools.
- Build strong relationships with trade customers and internal teams.
Skills and Experiences:
What you’ll bring
- Experience leading or supervising an internal sales, trade sales, customer service or technical sales team.
- Strong coaching and people leadership skills.
- A practical, hands-on leadership style and willingness to support the team directly when needed.
- A commercial mindset and ability to turn customer interactions into sales opportunities.
- Confidence using sales data and reporting to improve performance.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work across multiple sites.
- A customer-first approach and practical problem-solving style.
- Automotive, suspension, mechanical or aftermarket parts knowledge would be highly regarded.
