About the Role
Reporting to the Training Superintendent, you'll coordinate training and competency activities for the Production team, ensuring employees meet site, legislative and company compliance requirements.
Key responsibilities include:
- Coordinate training schedules and workforce competency requirements
- Maintain accurate training records and learning management systems
- Monitor compliance and competency expiry dates
- Support onboarding, inductions and mobilisation activities
- Assist with Verification of Competency (VOC) programs
- Work closely with supervisors to identify training needs and workforce capability gaps
- Prepare training reports and compliance documentation
- Contribute to continuous improvement of training processes and systems
- Ensure training activities comply with site standards and legislative requirements
About You
You are an organised and detail-focused professional who enjoys working with people and maintaining high compliance standards in a mining environment.
You'll ideally have:
- Previous experience in a Training Advisor, Training Administrator or Learning & Development role within mining or heavy industry
- Sound knowledge of mining training compliance and competency management
- Experience using Learning Management Systems (LMS) and training databases
- Strong administrative, organisational and time management skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities
- Intermediate Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel and Outlook
- Current Australian Driver Licence
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE) will be highly regarded
