Join the team at a large sporting event in Melbourne!
Event Staff Australia is seeking friendly, reliable and experienced sampling staff and sampling runners for Thursday 10 and Friday 11 September 2026. This is a great opportunity to be part of a busy sporting event, meet new people and put your event or hospitality experience to work.
Location: Melbourne Park, Olympic Boulevard, Melbourne
Pay: $28–$29 per hour

AVAILABLE SHIFTS
Thursday 10 September 2026
- Sampling Runner — 1 position
- 12:00pm–3:00pm AND 6:00pm–9:00pm
Friday 11 September 2026
- Sampling Runner — 1 position
- Sampling Staff — 1 position
- 11:00am–2:00pm AND 6:00pm–9:00pm
You must be available for BOTH time blocks on your selected day. Each day includes six scheduled working hours, with a break between sessions. You may apply for one day or both days.
THE ROLES
Sampling Staff: Engage confidently with event attendees, offer product samples and support a welcoming, professional brand experience.
Sampling Runners: Help replenish sampling supplies, move stock and keep the sampling team organised throughout service.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- Relevant sampling, promotional, event or hospitality experience
- Food-handling certification — required for these roles
- Friendly communication and a professional presentation
- Reliability, teamwork and confidence working in a busy event environment
- Ability to attend Melbourne Park and commit to both sessions on your selected day
