The Pricing and Analytics Branch is responsible for all data analytics, statistical modelling, benchmarking, and policy impact assessments as part of IHACPA’s function in determining the National Efficient Price (NEP) and National Efficient Cost (NEC) for Australian public hospitals each year.
It is also responsible for developing advice for the pricing and funding of aged care, prostheses list price benchmarking, and researching the viability of alternative models of health care funding.
This role reports to the Chief Executive Officer and is a key member of IHACPA’s executive leadership team. The Executive Director leads several teams that are responsible for hospital and aged care pricing, as well as general data analytics, national benchmarking and trend reporting.
