As the Physiotherapist, you will provide physiotherapy services to Rehabilitation, Aged and Palliative (RAP) patient service areas. You will be responsible for the assessment and management of patients which results in improved patient care and outcomes. This role is particularly suited for Physiotherapists early in their career, where you will have the opportunity to work alongside a highly skilled team of healthcare professionals to further your professional development.
Your role responsibilities may include:
Providing safe and effective physiotherapy care within the Rehabilitation Aged and Palliative division, including hydrotherapy,
Collaborating with medical, nursing, and other professionals in patient care,
Participating in clinical rotations to gain and maintain diverse experience,
Supporting supervision of assistants and physiotherapy students under clinical supervision.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
Appropriate Degree or equivalent qualification which entitles registration with the Physiotherapy Board of Australia,
Physiotherapy skills in assessment and management of a broad range of conditions,
Ability to set priorities and manage one’s time effectively including the ability to supervise physiotherapy students and assistants,
Proficient in assessing and managing various conditions,
Effective time management and supervision skills,
Empathetic and competent in diverse patient care, including emergencies,
Strong communication and teamwork abilities
