- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 10 years of experience with the cloud market, industry analysis and enterprise technology sales
- Experience producing technical assets or writing technical documentation.
- Experince in IT audit, risk management, and compliance standards (ISO 27k, SOC, PCI DSS, FedRAMP); CISSP, CISA, CIPP, or GIAC.
- Ability to convert complex AUNZ regulations into technical, operational, and engineering controls and knowledge of cloud security infrastructure and compliance frameworks.
- Track record of driving large-scale cloud projects and policy consultations across cross-functional teams in high-velocity, agile environments.

As part of the Cloud Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) Risk & Compliance organization, the Regional Regulatory Affairs & Customer Assurance team is a proactive engine of advocacy and customer growth. We serve as the Regional Technical Liaison—the high-impact bridge between Google’s global engineering, local regulators, and our most strategic customers. - Unblock Australia & New Zealand (AUNZ) regulatory hurdles to accelerate Google Cloud adoption, AI workloads, and complex agreement closures across regulated and public sectors.
- Maintain Google’s risk/control environment and lead audit engagements for major enterprise customers, independent auditors, and regulators.
- Review and approve high-impact agreement terms, geo-expansions, and industry-tailored cloud architectures.
- Represent the regulators to shape global product roadmaps while advocating business compliance.
