Sick of doing more admin than actual therapy? We get it.
That’s why we built Nourished Not Deprived — a company founded by Allied Health professionals who were tired of the burnout and red tape. We’ve taken care of the admin, marketing, and tech headaches so you can do what you’re trained to do: change lives.
We're growing quickly, and we’re on the lookout for Occupational Therapists who want flexibility, autonomy, and a whole lot of heart.
What You’ll Actually Be Doing
- Supporting a mix of NDIS and Private clients (children, teens or adults — we tailor to your preference).
- Delivering neuro-affirming, capacity-building therapy at a pace that works for you.
- Writing high-quality reports that make a difference in funding decisions.
- Collaborating with psychologists, dietitians, and speechies in our virtual team.
- Attending optional collab sessions for professional development and community (no corporate fluff, just real chat).
What a Week Might Look Like
- 2 days of telehealth with neurodivergent teens who need help building executive functioning.
- 1 face-to-face day (if you're NSW-based) supporting kids with emotional regulation goals.
- 1 day writing reports or attending case conferences (we help you streamline this).
- And zero hours fighting with scheduling software — our admin team handles that for you.
Why Join Us
- Work solo, never alone. You’ll have direct access to our Director of Clinical Operations and Culture, a senior OT with over 10 years’ experience — available 24/7 for clinical questions, case reviews, or just a safe place to debrief.
- Streamlined onboarding. Get set up fast with plug-and-play templates, IT systems, and real admin support.
- Choose your caseload. You tell us what you love — we build around it.
- Pick your hours. School hours? Evenings? Weekends? No judgment.
- Competitive pay. The more hours you work, the higher percentage split you will receive.
- Work from anywhere. We’ve been remote since day one, with national systems that actually work.
- Human-first culture. We check in, we joke around, we’re not weirdly formal.
- Support that’s actually helpful. Our admin team handles bookings, reminders, NDIS service agreements and all the things that eat up your evenings.
- A culture of compassion. We don’t just preach values — we live them. You’ll be part of a team that checks in, has your back, and genuinely cares.
Who We're Looking For
- Someone who believes in neuro-affirming practice, collaborative care, and autonomy.
- At least 1 year of OT experience (if you’re newer, let’s talk anyway).
- AHPRA registration, WWCC, driver’s licence, and Australian work rights.
- The kind of person who wants support without being micromanaged.
A Note From Us
We know there’s a lot of OT jobs out there. What makes us different is that we treat our clinicians like gold. You won't get buried in systems, siloed from the team, or left figuring everything out alone. We're here — whenever you need us.
If you’re curious, apply — even if you’re not 100% sure it’s a fit. We’ll have a chat and figure it out together.
