Position: Baker’s Assistant
Availability Required: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday, 9:00am–6:00pm.
The Role
We’re looking for someone dependable, hardworking and enthusiastic to become part of our bakery production team. As a Baker’s Assistant, you’ll be involved in the day-to-day preparation and production of our cakes, working alongside our team in a busy commercial kitchen.
Previous kitchen or food production experience is an advantage, however it isn’t essential as training will be provided to the right person.
Your Responsibilities Will Include:
- Preparing cake doughs, creams and other components
- Layering and assembling cakes
- Assisting with general cake production
- Washing dishes and kitchen equipment
- Maintaining a clean, organised and hygienic workspace
- Helping with general kitchen and shop cleaning as required
