The Role: We are seeking a passionate, self-motivated Full-Time Baker’s Assistant to join our production team. This role offers the perfect balance for early risers: early morning starts mean your afternoons are completely free! You will be a crucial part of our daily baking operations, ensuring our shelves are stocked with fresh, beautiful products every day.
Key Responsibilities:
- Production: Assist in the daily preparation, mixing, and baking of all products.
- Shaping: Shape loaves, baguettes, and specialty breads to high standards.
- Sourdough Care: Manage and monitor sourdough fermentation and starters.
- Independent Work: Execute baking schedules efficiently without constant supervision.
- Collaboration: Communicate smoothly with the Front of House team for order fulfillment.
- Hygiene: Maintain a spotless, safe, and organized workspace.
What We Are Looking For:
- Experience: Proven experience in a commercial bakery setting.
- Sourdough Skills: Solid, practical understanding of sourdough baking processes.
- Shaping Technique: Excellent hands-on skills in shaping bread dough.
- Drive: Highly self-motivated with the ability to work unsupervised.
- Availability: Must be available to work early mornings and weekends.
- Team Player: A positive attitude that thrives in a small, collaborative team.
