About the Role
AE GLOBAL is one of Australia's leading international education consultancies, helping students achieve their study goals in Australia and overseas. We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Education Counsellor to join our Parramatta team.
This is a long-term temporary position with the opportunity to grow within the business for the right candidate.
What You'll Do
- Assist prospective students with education and course enquiries.
- Build relationships with prospective students through referrals, networking, and community engagement.
- Guide students through the admission and application process.
- Maintain accurate records in our CRM system.
- Follow up with enquiries and provide exceptional customer service.
- Work closely with our admissions and compliance teams.
- Participate in marketing activities, education events, and promotional campaigns.

- Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Be confident speaking with people from diverse cultural backgrounds.
- Be proactive, organised, and target-driven.
- Have strong networking and relationship-building skills.
- Be comfortable using Microsoft Office and online systems.
- Be able to work independently and as part of a team.
Desirable (Not Essential)
Candidates with firsthand knowledge of the international student journey, multicultural communities, or overseas education systems may find this role particularly rewarding, as they can relate well to our student clients and understand their needs.
Previous experience in education, customer service, sales, or student support will be highly regarded but is not essential, as training will be provided.
