We are seeking an experienced Quarry Supervisor to support the safe and efficient production of limestone, sand, and gravel.

We are seeking an experienced and safety-focused Quarry Supervisor to support the efficient production of limestone, sand, and gravel. This role is responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations, leading site personnel, and ensuring all activities are carried out safely, efficiently, and in line with company policies and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise daily quarry operations to ensure safe and efficient production
- Allocate work and coordinate tasks to maximise productivity
- Lead, coach and support quarry employees on-site
- Ensure all pre-start checks, Take 5’s and hazard reporting are completed
- Operate heavy machinery (loaders, dozers, dump trucks, excavators) as required
- Feed and manage material flow into crushers and stockpiles
- Conduct equipment inspections and basic maintenance (fuel, oil, grease checks)
- Monitor compliance with safety, environmental and quality standards
- Maintain accurate timesheets and operational records
- Assist with planning and scheduling of site activities
- Participate in toolbox talks and safety meetings
- Promote continuous improvement and best practice processes
About You
- Proven experience in quarrying, mining or similar heavy industry
- Strong leadership and supervisory capability
- Solid mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Experience operating mobile and fixed plant equipment
- Positive attitude with the ability to work in a team environment
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
