We are seeking an experienced, enthusiastic, and hands-on Hotel Manager to join our well-established hotel. This is an exciting opportunity for a hospitality professional who enjoys a diverse role, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is passionate about delivering outstanding customer experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the hotel, ensuring exceptional customer service and high operational standards.
- Lead, support, and supervise front-of-house and back-of-house teams.
- Handle customer enquiries, complaints, and operational issues in a professional and timely manner.
- Recruit, train, mentor, and develop staff to foster a positive and productive workplace culture.
- Prepare staff rosters and assist with payroll, reporting, and other administrative duties.
- Monitor stock levels, manage inventory, and coordinate ordering of supplies.
- Ensure compliance with liquor, gaming licensing, food safety, workplace health and safety, and all relevant industry regulations.
- Coordinate general maintenance and ensure the venue is presented to a high standard at all times.
About You
- Previous experience in a supervisory or management role within the hospitality industry, preferably in a hotel, pub, or tavern.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
- A proactive, hands-on approach with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Excellent customer service and problem-solving abilities.
- Basic cooking experience or willingness to assist in the kitchen will be highly regarded.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required.
- A current RSA certificate is essential for an immediate start. RP, RSG, and any other required industry certifications can be obtained after commencement.
