About The Role
You’ll be making coffee, helping with cold drinks, prepping sandwiches, and supporting the team with day-to-day cafe tasks.
Your Daily Tasks
1. Make quality coffee and cold drinks
2. Assist with sandwich preparation
3. Take orders and provide friendly service
4. Keep the cafe stocked and clean
What We’re Looking For
A friendly, proactive person who’s eager to jump in. Experience is preferred (1 year)
As a barista at Kanteen, you’ll be our go-to coffee expert. You’ll craft everything from a classic cappuccino to a smooth cold brew, making sure every cup is just right. Alongside the coffee-making, you’ll help keep our café running smoothly by taking orders, serving up our menu items, and making everyone feel at home.
Key Responsibilities:
● Coffee Preparation: Make and serve a range of coffee and espresso drinks to perfection.
● Customer Service: Provide warm, friendly service and build relationships with our customers
● Maintaining Standards: Keep the café clean and tidy, help with restocking supplies, and ensure everything runs smoothly during your shift.
What You’ll Bring:
● Experience & Enthusiasm: Some barista or café experience is a plus, but we really value a positive, can-do attitude and a genuine love for coffee.
● People Skills: A friendly approach and a knack for making customers feel welcome.
● Reliability: Flexibility with hours and the ability to work some weekends.
