Quality Care Advisor | BlueCare | Aged Care
Employment Term: Permanent part time, 5 shifts per fortnight
Location: Brisbane based with travel across other areas
Remuneration: $59.43 - $60.70 p/h + Super + Not for Profit Salary Packaging + Penalties & Allowances

As a Quality Care Advisor, you'll partner with operational and clinical leaders across multiple residential aged care homes to strengthen clinical excellence, quality outcomes and regulatory compliance. You'll provide expert advice, coaching and support to help services manage risk, improve care outcomes and maintain readiness for accreditation and regulatory activities, while remaining independent of direct care delivery.

Provide expert clinical, quality and risk advice to support safe, high-quality resident care.

Support leaders to identify trends, manage risks and drive continuous improvement using data, audits and feedback.

Act as a clinical escalation point for complex care matters, including falls, wounds, infection prevention and medication safety.

Assist services to manage serious incidents, complaints and regulatory reporting requirements.

Coach, mentor and build capability in clinical governance, quality improvement and evidence-based practice.

Support audit readiness, accreditation activities and ongoing compliance with aged care quality standards.

Partner with clinical and operational teams to implement sustainable improvements and strengthen resident outcomes.

Contribute to quality improvement initiatives, research and innovation across residential aged care services.

Bachelor of Nursing (or equivalent) with current AHPRA registration.

Minimum three years' experience as a Registered Nurse, preferably in residential aged care.

Experience supporting audits, accreditation and regulatory compliance activities.

Strong clinical judgement, risk management and clinical governance capability.

Excellent coaching, stakeholder engagement and communication skills.

Current Australian Driver's Licence and willingness to travel across services.

Postgraduate qualifications (or working towards)

Infection Prevention and Control (IPC) Lead training or willingness to undertake

Ability to satisfy all required probity checks in line with policy and legislation
