You will play a key role in the repair and servicing of process and oxy valves for the gas and manufacturing industries.

Your responsibilities will include:
-
Completing a range of mechanical fitting tasks including testing, cleaning, stripping, assessing, repairing, painting, packaging and dispatching valves and actuators
-
Carrying out in-process inspections to ensure products meet required quality and contractual standards
-
Maintaining tools, equipment, and calibrated measuring instruments
-
Completing required documentation, time sheets, and reports accurately
-
Inspecting incoming and outgoing goods and coordinating deliveries
-
Ensuring compliance with WHS and environmental requirements
-
Working collaboratively with internal teams and customers
This role is primarily workshop-based, with occasional travel to local customer sites.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:

A Mechanical Trade qualification (Fitter, Turner & Machinist, Light Vehicle or Plant Mechanic)

Experience in a similar mechanical fitting role
-
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
-
A safety-first mindset and understanding of relevant codes and standards
-
Effective communication and customer service skills
-
A current Australian Driver’s License (Class C)
-
A team-oriented approach and a positive, can-do attitude
You will also be comfortable performing physically demanding tasks within a workshop and high-risk industrial environments.
