Position Objective
The Disability Support Worker provides person-centred support to individuals with disability, helping them achieve greater independence, community inclusion, personal choice, and quality of life. The role focuses on supporting participants to develop living, social, recreational, and life skills while promoting dignity, respect, and individual goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality support services in line with participants’ Person-Centred Plans (PCP).
- Encourage participant independence, decision-making, and community participation.
- Assist with personal care and daily living activities as required.
- Support participants in developing life skills and achieving individual goals.
- Implement communication and behaviour support strategies where required.
- Work collaboratively with participants, families, carers, and other stakeholders.
- Participate in program planning, staff training, team meetings, and organisational activities.
- Follow organisational policies, procedures, and Disability Service Standards.
- Maintain accurate documentation and contribute to participant progress monitoring.

Pay: $32.88 – $35.15 per hour
