We are seeking an energetic team player to perform a broad range of duties relating to landscape, horticultural, maintenance and development of areas under the control of Council.
This position will also assist the Gangers of Open Spaces in ensuring park structures such as the splash park, playground equipment, fences, bollards, soft fall areas, shelters & BBQs are maintained to the required standards.
Primary Objectives:
- To effectively and efficiently undertake a wide variety of landscape, horticultural and land management activities as directed by the relevant Ganger
- To undertake precinct maintenance inspections reporting on all noteworthy aspects
- The daily cleaning and maintenance of amenities within the Public Space areas
- To work in a safe and environmentally sensitive manner
- To be a good team player
