JOIN THE TEAM AT BASQUE
Basque is a boutique cake shop, cafe & wine bar located in Chirn Park on the Gold Coast. We pride ourselves on having some of the best cakes and desserts in the area and we are looking for a talented pastry chef to join our small team. We are looking for someone who can help in the kitchen; plating and portioning cakes and desserts, as well as general prep and kitchen duties.
- Part time and full time positions available
- Must be available weekends
- Afternoon & evening shifts
The role covers a wide variety of tasks which may include:
- Preparation and service (plating) of desserts, tarts, cakes and pastries
- Portioning of cakes and desserts
- Decorating cakes
- Kitchen hand duties including washing dishes, general cleaning and polishing glassware
Pay: $35.00 per hour
Experience:
- Baking / Pastry: 1 year (Preferred)
