Banksia Bakehouse | Barangaroo
Banksia Bakehouse in Barangaroo is looking for a new FOH member to join our team.
We are a busy and popular bakery operating two venues in Sydney CBD (Barangaroo and The Rocks). Every item we sell in shop, we make and bake on site.
We are seeking someone who bring energy, precision, and genuine hospitality to every shift. Our environment is fast-paced and high-volume, built on structure, teamwork, and consistent standards. We are looking for individuals who move with purpose, communicate clearly, and take pride in presentation.
The Role
As part of our FOH team, you will be responsible for facilitating all customer transactions. You will be working in a team of 3 - 4 other FOH staff. This is a hands-on role requiring strong awareness, efficiency, and a calm, solutions-focused approach during peak service periods.
Key Responsibilities
- Delivering warm, professional customer service
- Managing POS transactions accurately and efficiently
- Displaying and replenishing baked goods to presentation standards
- Coordinating with baristas and kitchen teams during peak service
- Maintaining cleanliness and organisation of service areas
- Managing queues and ensuring smooth customer flow
- Representing the Banksia Bakehouse brand with professionalism
About You
- Previous experience in a busy café, bakery, or hospitality venue
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Comfortable working in high-volume environments
- High attention to detail and personal presentation
- Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
- Available for early mornings and weekend shifts
Job Type: Casual
Pay: $32.18 – $33.05 per hour
