Job Responsibilities:
We're looking for a driven Senior Project Coordinator to join our team to deliver a Defence project based in Albury In this essential role, you will collaborate closely with the project manager, work stream leads, and other team members to ensure timely delivery of program phases within budget constraints.
Skills and attributes:
- Proven project coordination experience in a large construction team, within a large organisation with strong levels of judgement & discretion
- Strong focus on construction delivery quality, and embedment of company processes into the project
- Ability to perform all duties with high degree of accuracy & confidentiality
- Excellent interpersonal communication & people management skills
- Excellent time management skills & the ability to organise & prioritise own workload
- Proven ability to organise & prioritise tasks; proactive with a strong attention to detail.
- Ability to perform & contribute within a team environment
- Ability to communicate with all levels of staff & management, both internal & external
Qualifications:
- Tertiary degree, preferably Construction Management or Engineering
- Minimum 5-10 years of experience in large scale project construction and delivery
- Large scale project experience over $50m, ideally with Defence experience
- Strong skills in procurement, services coordination and documentation management
- Ability to interpret drawings, manage subcontractor communication and support project delivery
