Semi-Tipper Truck DriverPosition Overview
We are seeking an experienced and reliable Semi-Tipper Truck Driver to join our transport operations in Western Australia. The successful applicant will be responsible for safely operating a prime mover and semi-tipper trailer to transport and deliver materials to customers, work sites and other designated locations.
The driver will be responsible for the safe operation of the vehicle, loading and unloading of materials, securing loads, completing vehicle inspections and maintaining compliance with applicable road transport, workplace health and safety requirements.
Essential Requirements
- Current Australian heavy vehicle driver's licence appropriate for the vehicle being operated, or ability to obtain the required licence before commencing employment.
- Demonstrated experience operating heavy vehicles and/or semi-trailer combinations.
- Experience with semi-tipper operations is highly desirable.
- Good understanding of heavy vehicle safety requirements.
- Ability to safely load, transport and unload materials.
- Ability to conduct basic vehicle safety and pre-start checks.
- Good knowledge of road safety and fatigue-management requirements.
- Ability to complete delivery documentation and maintain accurate records.
- Good communication skills.
- Reliable and safety-focused approach to work.
- Ability to work independently and follow directions from supervisors.
Desirable Experience
- Experience operating a prime mover and semi-tipper combination.
- Experience transporting bulk materials.
- Experience working on construction, civil, quarry, earthworks or similar sites.
- Experience with hydraulic tipping systems.
- Knowledge of Western Australian road transport requirements.
- Previous experience with chain-of-responsibility procedures.
Pay: $41.20 – $47.70 per hour
