Your Opportunity
As an Early Childhood Teacher, you will play a key role in planning and delivering a high-quality, inclusive educational program that reflects the interests, strengths, and developmental needs of every child.
Working collaboratively with educators, families, and allied professionals, you will create engaging learning experiences, support children's development, and contribute to a positive and enriching environment.
This is a full-time permanent position.
Your Mission
- Use intentional teaching practices to extend children's learning, development, and wellbeing.
- Design and implement engaging educational programs aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and the National Quality Framework (NQF).
- Foster meaningful relationships with children, families, and the wider community.
- Work collaboratively within a dynamic team and contribute to a positive and supportive workplace culture.
- Support the Nominated Supervisor by mentoring educators, guiding educational practice, and contributing to the service's Quality Improvement Plan (QIP).
- Observe, assess, and document children's learning and development.
- Ensure ongoing compliance with all relevant legislation, regulations, policies, and procedures.
What You'll Bring
- Approved Early Childhood Teaching qualification (Bachelor of Education, Bachelor of Teaching, or equivalent).
- Current NESA Teacher Accreditation.
- Current ACECQA-approved First Aid, Asthma Management, and Anaphylaxis Certification.
- Identify and Respond to Children at Risk certification.
- Valid Working With Children Check (WWCC).
- Completion of the mandatory National Child Safety Training via GECCKO.
- Minimum 2 years' experience within an early childhood education and care setting.
- Strong knowledge of the National Quality Framework (NQF) and Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF).
- Demonstrated experience in curriculum planning, documentation, and assessment of children's learning.
- A genuine passion for early childhood education and the ability to inspire a positive learning culture.
