Adecco is currently recruiting on behalf of a long-standing, reputable residential construction business specialising in window framing solutions . Due to continued growth, we are seeking a Leading Hand Carpenter to step into a permanent role, leading a small team across metro Adelaide projects.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced carpenter ready to take the next step in their career, overseeing projects while remaining hands-on in a supportive and quality-driven environment.

Responsibilities
- Lead, supervise, and mentor a team of carpenters on-site
- Coordinate daily site activities to ensure projects run efficiently
- Deliver high-standard residential framing and carpentry work
- Perform first and second fix carpentry tasks
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company standards
- Liaise with clients, site managers, and internal stakeholders
Maintain productivity, quality control, and project timelines

Your Profile
- Certificate III in Carpentry (essential)
- Proven experience in residential carpentry (first & second fix)
- Demonstrated leadership or Leading Hand experience
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage teams and prioritise workloads
- Current White Card
- Own tools, reliable vehicle, and mobile phone
Strong work ethic and commitment to quality workmanship

This is a permanent, secure opportunity offering a competitive hourly rate of $50–$55 depending on experience, with a consistent Monday to Friday schedule (7:30am – 3:30pm) and no weekend work required. You’ll enjoy working across Adelaide metro sites with the convenience of starting your day from home, all while being part of a supportive team that values quality workmanship and offers long-term career progression.
