About The Role
As Senior Product Manager - Digital Ad Tech, you will stand at the forefront of transformation. From pioneering next-generation capabilities like Agentic Commerce to establishing scalable, intelligent ad serving foundations across Australia and New Zealand, you will directly shape how Australia’s largest retailer defines the future of commerce media.
This is a pivotal opportunity for an ambitious product leader to solve complex, high-scale engineering and commercial challenges, bridge digital and physical retail ecosystems, and build an ad tech capability that sets the global benchmark for retail media innovation.
Key accountabilities of the role include:
Build and deploy a modern, retail-media-aware ad server across Australia and New Zealand to replace legacy infrastructure and enable intelligent, always-on campaigns.
Unify digital ad delivery across all Cartology platforms, including online e-commerce channels and physical in-store environments like digital screens, radio, and personalized experiences.
Expand revenue potential by implementing CPM-based selling models, supporting targeted campaigns, and automating billing processes based on actual impression delivery.
Lead the product strategy and proof of concept for Agentic Commerce, establishing Cartology at the forefront of AI-driven, on-site commerce experiences.
Translate complex ad server architecture and business requirements into clear product scopes, strategic roadmaps, and actionable engineering backlogs.
Foster cross-functional alignment across internal teams while ensuring all platforms adhere to stringent security, data privacy, and industry best practices.
What you’ll do
Proven and solid experience in Product Management, including strong exposure to Ad Tech platforms, Publisher Tech, or Ad Serving infrastructure.
Deep technical understanding of ad server architecture, ad decisioning engines, campaign forecasting, and yield optimization.
Proven experience implementing impression-based (CPM) commercial models, pacing algorithms, and automated billing-on-actuals workflows.
Exceptional ability to bridge complex engineering concepts with commercial business drivers, translating vision into actionable technical roadmaps.
Track record of delivering ad products across e-commerce and physical touchpoints while driving execution across cross-functional matrix teams.
Preferred experience in Retail Media Networks, eCommerce ad tech, AI-driven commerce (Agentic Commerce), and collaborating on client-facing self-service tools.
