About the Role
Join the Adult Genetics Service and play a key role in keeping a busy specialist team running smoothly. You'll provide high quality administrative and secretarial support, lead a small administration team and help deliver a welcoming, efficient service for patients, clinicians and stakeholders.
- Lead daily admin support across the Adult Genetics Service
- Provide confidential secretarial and reception services
- Manage patient records, data and clinical correspondence
- Support and guide administration team members
- Build strong links with clinicians and external partners
About You
You're an organised, approachable administrator who thrives in a busy healthcare environment. You bring strong communication skills, a keen eye for detail and enjoy supporting both patients and multidisciplinary teams.
- Experience in healthcare administration or secretarial support
- Strong Microsoft Word, Excel and database skills
- Confident with medical terminology and accurate typing
- Excellent organisation, judgement and confidentiality skills
- Build positive relationships and adapt to changing priorities
