Job Summary: Are you a master of the blade and the brush? We are looking for a versatile professional who bridges the gap between high-end styling and precision barbering. If you take pride in flawless finish, we want you in our chair.
Key Responsibilities:
● Deliver high-quality cutting and colouring using scissors, clippers, and razors to achieve everything from classic styles to modern skin fades
● Conduct thorough consultations to set realistic expectations while creating personalised colour plans and future appointment strategies
● Execute expert barbering services including beard shaping, line-ups, and traditional cut-throat razor face or head shaves
● Provide specialised styling such as perming, straightening, and crafting intricate dreadlocks or braids
● Educate clients on maintenance and products to ensure long-term hair health and scalp vitality through professional advice
● Uphold the highest level of cleanliness by sanitising instruments and keeping the workspace pristine while working on time
● Build a loyal client base by contributing to a positive, supportive team environment and providing a premium guest experience
● Commit to workplace health and safety, including adherence to WHS regulations, participation in safety training, and promotion of a safe environment.
Qualifications, Experience, and Skills
● Must hold a Certificate III in Barbering
● At least 2–3 years of experience at a senior level with the ability to demonstrate mastery in all aspects of modern and traditional barbering.
● Complete confidence in executing precision skin fades and expert clipper work alongside essential proficiency in beard shaping, meticulous line-ups, and traditional cut-throat razor face or head shaves.
● A keen eye for detail with the ability to manage a chair efficiently and stay on schedule
● Exceptional communication skills with a focus on premium customer service and a collaborative, team-first mindset.
● A punctual and dependable work ethic with the flexibility to work a roster that includes Saturdays.
