THE ROLE
The Relocations Officer will coordinate and support the tenancy relocations activities within Homes Victoria's portfolio including tenancy relationship management, coordinating third parties involved in the relocation process, information sharing with key stakeholders and reporting on relocation activities.
The Relocations Officer will work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders under the direction of the Relocations Team Leader to ensure a well-planned and communicated tenancy relocation program is delivered. The position requires excellent communication skills, an understanding of housing allocation and community needs.
ACCOUNTABILITIES INCLUDE
- Provide initial and ongoing contact with renters throughout the relocation process including informing them of the process, key steps, timelines, and various support services in providing a quality service.
- Work closely with public housing renters at a particular redevelopment site (or sites) on their relocation and to provide them with timely and appropriate information about the project, assess their relocations options and support them with their move.
- Assist with maintaining evaluation tools to monitor the program's impact on renters and the wider community. This may include the preparation of reports, submissions, briefings, or correspondence as required.
