Due to an internal promotion, we have an exciting opportunity for a Recover at Work Advisor to join UnitingCare Queensland's supportive and high-performing Health, Safety and Wellbeing team.
In this role, you'll support employees and leaders through the workers’ compensation and recovery journey, managing claims, coordinating rehabilitation and return-to-work plans, and providing practical advice that helps people return to work safely, confidently and sustainably. You'll work closely with managers, employees, EML and healthcare providers to overcome barriers, identify early intervention opportunities and deliver positive outcomes.
If you're a relationship-focused professional with experience in workers' compensation, rehabilitation or injury management, this is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference while working alongside a collaborative team that values wellbeing, continuous improvement and creating safer workplaces across Queensland.
Please note, this position is Full Time. Flexibility is important to us, and we know it is to you too - this role supports hybrid working by agreement.
Your part in our UnitingCare team:
Manage claims from start to finish, including coordinating rehabilitation plans, conducting case reviews and maintaining clear, accurate records.
Build strong working relationships with key stakeholders, including EML, healthcare providers and internal leaders, to achieve the best possible outcomes for injured workers.
